Return & Refund Policy

At Anuj Gems, we are committed to delivering genuine natural precious and semiprecious gemstones, Rudraksha, and handcrafted jewellery. Due to the unique nature of natural gemstones and custom-made items, we have a clear and fair return policy.

We encourage you to review this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Eligibility for Return / Replacement

Returns or exchanges are accepted only in the following cases:

  • Product damaged during transit
  • Wrong item delivered (different gemstone or jewelry than ordered)
  • Gemstone proven to be non-natural / synthetic / treated (when tested by a Government-approved or ISO-certified gemological laboratory)

All return requests must be made within 7 days of receiving the product.

2. Mandatory Conditions for Return

  • The product must be unused and unworn.
  • Original packaging, certificate, tags, and invoice must be intact.
  • Videographic proof is mandatory: You must send a clear video showing the opening of the package, the product from all angles, certificate, and serial number (if any). Without this video, your return request will not be processed.
  • Product must pass our internal inspection upon receipt.

3. Categories Not Eligible for Return / Refund

The following items are non-returnable (except in case of damage in transit or wrong item):

  • All customized jewelry (rings, pendants, necklaces, bracelets, etc.) once design is approved and manufacturing has started.
  • Gemstone bead bracelets
  • Rudraksha (especially after opening the sealed pack)
  • Loose gemstones after 7 days or if used/worn
  • Sale / Discounted / Final sale items
  • Products returned without original certificate & packaging
  • Any item where customer has tampered with the product or certificate

Note: Personalized or made-to-order items are manufactured only after your approval. Making charges become non-refundable once production begins.

4. Authenticity Guarantee

If you have any doubt about the authenticity of the gemstone, we strongly recommend getting it tested at a reputed Government gemological institute (e.g., IIGS, GII, or any ISO-certified lab).

If the lab report clearly proves the gemstone is synthetic or artificial, you will be eligible for a 100% refund (including making charges where applicable).

5. Return Process

  1. Contact us within 7 days at support@anujgems.com or WhatsApp 7701993037 with Order ID, clear photos + mandatory video, and reason.
  2. Our team will review the request (usually within 48 hours).
  3. If approved, you must ship the item back at your own cost using a trackable courier.
  4. After we receive and inspect the product, we will notify you via email regarding approval or rejection.
  5. Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment method.

Important: We do not arrange pickups. Return shipping charges are borne by the customer.

6. Refund Details

  • Refunds will only be issued to the original payment source.
  • Shipping charges, payment gateway fees, taxes (GST), and duties are non-refundable.
  • For COD orders above ₹2,00,000, we may require PAN and bank details for verification.
  • For customized items (if exceptionally accepted), making charges may be deducted.

7. Cancellation Policy

Once an order is confirmed and payment is made, cancellations are generally not accepted. Especially after design approval or when production has started.

8. Change of Mind / Minor Variations

Returns due to change of mind, not liking the product, or minor natural variations in color, inclusions, or size (normal in natural gemstones) are not accepted.

9. International Orders

International customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and return shipping charges. Refunds (if approved) will be processed after receipt of the product, minus any applicable charges. Processing may take 30–45 days.

Product Authenticity & Natural Variations

All gemstones are natural. Slight variations in color, clarity, inclusions, and size are inherent properties of natural stones and not considered defects. Photos are representative; actual product may vary slightly.

Custom Orders

Customized items are made as per customer specifications and design approval. Once manufacturing begins, orders cannot be cancelled and making charges are non-refundable.

Fraudulent Returns

Any attempt to return a fake, different, or tampered stone will be rejected. We reserve the right to take legal action and blacklist such accounts.

Limitation of Liability

Gemstones and Rudraksha are sold for their aesthetic, traditional, and astrological value. We do not guarantee any astrological or healing results. Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased.
